How can I create, edit or update CafeSuite translation?
It is possible to easily create and edit all CafeSuite translations using free RapidTranslation application. You are welcome to download it here.
In the zip archive you will find:
- RTEdit.exe - language editor for *.tra files
- RTEdit.hlp - help system for the editor
- RT_Translator.pdf - quick description of system
The original English language files are available in CafeSuite\Lang (for CafeStation) and CafeSuite\Client\Lang (for CafeAgent) subfolders of CafeSuite data folder. Click menu Start/All programs/CafeSuite/CafeSuite data folder to locate this folder.
As you will notice translation files are named as Application-Language.tra - e.g. CafeStation-Italian.tra or CafeAgent-Polish.tra. The exception is for original English translations which are just respectively called CafeStation.tra and CafeAgent.tra.
If you find your language there you can download it and continue translation. Otherwise you can easily create new translation from the original English language files. The original translation is also needed to see the texts to be worked on when updating translation.
Check this article to see how to create a new CafeSuite translation.
Check this article to see how to update translation to a new version.
Please be so kind to send us your translations (*.tra files) once you finish them, so that we can include it with the installation package. We can provide you with a free 3 months license key, so that you can use the software while translating. You will be able to use the software for free as long as you will keep updating the translation with new releases. Thank you for your help!
