How to check TCP/IP settings of LAN connection?

Here's how to check TCP/IP settings of your AN connection.

Method 1: Using ipconfig

Click menu Start/Run:

Type cmd and hit Enter (for Windows 9x/Me type command instead):

Run command prompt

 

Type ipconfig and hit Enter (for Windows 9x/Me type winipcfg instead):

Ipconfig

You will see your current IP address, default gateway and subnet mask.

 

Method 2: Throug Control Panel

Click menu Start/Network connections:

Start/Network Connections

 

Select your LAN connection, right click and click Properties:

Network Connections

 

Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties button:

Verify TCP/IP settings:
