Can CafeSuite control customers who are using their own laptops in my cafe?

The best solution is to set up a wireless hotspot with CafeSuite.

It's also possible to control time of customers using laptops manually. You can add virtual machines to your workstation list, and use them to track time of customers with laptops and PDAs.Use Add computer command from the List menu, enter computer name and uncheck the Connect workstation option. Now, when a customer wants to use his computer you can count the time for him using one of the virtual computers on the list. Please not that such a solution doesn't give you control over the customers' computers so you won't be able to lock them or send them messages. However, it allows you to count the time used by your customers without touching their systems.
