Instant Recovery and content-filtering 2007-02-18

We're glad to announce the release of two new CafeSuite-related products:

• CafeSuite Recovery Module is an instant recovery software similar to DeepFreeze, but it can be controlled directly from CafeStation. It's very easy to install either manually or through automated script. You can specify which partitions should be protected and how often should they be restored. The software ensures that the public computers are always available, functioning and uncluttered with viruses, pornography or illegal applications. It removes the necessity to reinstall Windows or to restore partitions with Ghost. The instant recovery takes seconds and is almost invisible to the user.
• Surfovisor is a content filtering software that should help prevent pornography among children. It's already a requirement for cyber cafes in certain countries. The software consists of proxy server that monitors and filters all traffic and a small client application. Both programs can either be installed on a single PC or you can filter traffic from multiple client computers on one server.

Website update 2006-11-05

As you probably noticed we updated CafeSuite website, so that now registered customers can just log in once and use all the sections (forum, tickets, orders, etc). Before it was necessary to log in separately to each section. There is also a possibility to automatically remind forgotten license password. Finally we also integrated PayPal payment method which is already available. New major updates are coming soon!

• Support Ticket System - a helpdesk system is an alternative way of providing support to our customers. It has a few advantages over standard email support - you get confirmation for submitting your ticket and you can refer to your issue by ticket ID, of course you are notified once the issue is resolved, no spam filters can eat your emails or our replies, you have access to all your queries in one place even if you change email addresses, format harddrive, etc. Currently you need to register to access the ticket system, but we'll also make it possible to login with current client ID and password.
• Improved ordering system - now it's even easier to buy license, upgrade or extend support and upgrades period. Soon we're also going to introduce a new CafeSuite Lite with basic functionality at low fixed price and a special offer for CafeSuite license with all modules and unlimited number of workstations.
• Customer testimonials - initially we only included several sample quotes from your emails without announcing the authors (we're waiting for their permission to publish their names). If you would like us to add your testimonial, please email it to us preferably with your cyber cafe name and location, website link and a few photos.
• Under Development - actually it's just a Knowledge Base article, but it should be updated frequently with our current work progress and to-do and list
